Victoria Garden City (VGC), one of Nigeria’s most prestigious residential communities, recently marked its 30th anniversary with a week-long celebration from November 16 to 24, 2024. Developed by HFP Engineering (Nigeria) Limited, VGC is more than an estate. It is a symbol of urban innovation, environmental stewardship, and community harmony.
A Week of Meaningful Celebrations
Under the theme “Celebrating Diversity and Unity”, the anniversary featured seven days of vibrant, inclusive events:

Day 1 – Charity Walk: Residents kicked off the week with a community walk to raise funds for local charities

Day 2 – Remembrance Day: A moment to honor the memory of past community pioneers

Day 3 – Tree Planting Ceremony: Over 300 trees were planted to promote sustainability and reinforce VGC’s green legacy

Day 4 – Literacy Funfair: Children and youth participated in an educational fair blending learning with fun

Day 5 – Sports Tournament: Friendly matches and team games brought the community together

Day 6 – Cultural Carnival: A colorful celebration of Nigeria’s rich cultural diversity, food, music, and traditional fashion

Day 7 – Award and Dinner Night: Culminating in a grand gala recognizing individuals and groups contributing to VGC’s success
HFP’s Enduring Impact
As the original developer of VGC, HFP Engineering remains deeply connected to the estate’s vision and future. Our legacy is embedded in the estate’s roads, water systems, utilities, and community layout. At VGC @30, HFP played an active role not just as a guest but as a service partner.
To ensure direct engagement with residents, HFP established a dedicated mini client-service office within the estate during the celebrations. This enabled us to respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and strengthen our relationship with long-standing clients who live or operate within VGC.

The celebrations were also a moment of pride for HFP when our Group Managing Director received an Award of Excellence during the final dinner night. This recognition is a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainable urban development.
